Compatible Palm-powered PDA Devices
When procuring Palm OS PDAs for use with Schoolmaster PDA Office or Schoolmaster PDA Classroom, the devices listed below represent the most current products offered by Palm that are compatible with our software (i.e., OS 5.4.9 or higher).
The school's student population is a good indicator of the PDA model best suited for use with Schoolmaster PDA Office. In general, a school with a large student population should consider purchasing a Palm PDA with a large amount of on-board (internal) memory (e.g., 64 MB). Small schools (e.g., less than 200 students) may find that a Zire Z22 or similar device will suffice.
Expansion Cards
Schoolmaster PDA software can take advantage of the SD memory card slot found on most Palm OS-powered PDAs. If an expansion card is needed (for off-loading student photos), a 64 MB or larger card is suggested.
